The incumbent will be responsible for establishing and overseeing the Youth League Committee, and related work about internship and employment. S/he in charge of all the Youth League branches, including designing and implementing education programs through workshops, guest lectures, performances, cultural events, and skills development to promote a sense of community, and maximize league secretary learning and development.
Select and Advise Youth League branch secretary. Insure a fair student election process, promote interaction and communication between Youth League branch and university senior administrators, advise League Branch for future planning and development.
•Provide some related training about League branch activity, “zhihuituanjian”system, etc.
•Plan and implement community engagement programs. Liaise with international and local community for community engagement programs; advise students in participating in voluntary programs.
•Oversee the budget of student activities and events and claim expenses on behalf of league branch.
•Apply a flexible approach to work, recognize that there will be some weekend and evening activities that may require attending and helping students in meeting their needs for their activities and events.
•Reach out to industries and universities for partnerships and provide students with employment/ internship opportunities.
•Assist in organizing on-campus recruitment events and/or provide students with information on different recruitment events.
•Undertake other tasks and responsibilities as may reasonably be required.
Required qualification / academic degree: Bachelor or Master degree from an internationally reputable university, preferably in psychology, social work, education, arts or relevant subjects.
•Required experience: Working experiences in higher education institutions is preferred.
•Chinese Communist Party membership required.
•Language ability: Fluent in both written and spoken Chinese (Putonghua) and English.
•Strong sense of responsibility and initiative, and good organizational skills.
•Good interpersonal and communication skills to work in an international, cross-cultural work environment.
•Strong sense of fairness and confidentiality.
•Ability to handle emergencies and special cases.
